Print from WeWeb, without an on-site computer
WeWeb assembles your interface, while your back end provides the data. This thermal printer completes the physical side of the process: the receipt prints at the user’s location, without an on-site computer.
How it works
You add the Expedy API as a REST data source in WeWeb, then trigger the POST request from a page workflow.
Plug in the printer, scan the QR code displayed on its screen, and it will be linked to your Expedy account. No driver, and no computer that needs to stay on. See the installation details — API reference.
The printer
80 mm thermal printer, automatic cutter, included 4G SIM card and Ethernet port, setup screen, cash drawer output, and metal casing. Formatted text, QR codes, EAN13 barcodes, images, and PDFs. See the complete technical specifications.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to expose my API key in the browser?
No—and you should not. Use your back end or a server function to keep the key on the server.
Can I print to a specific customer’s printer?
Yes, by including their printer identifier in the request.
Does the printer need to stay on my network?
No. It connects to the Expedy cloud over 4G or Ethernet and continues to work even if your internet router goes down.
