Print from Xano, with no local computer
Xano is your no-code app’s back end. This thermal printer connects to it like any external API: one function, one POST request, and the receipt prints at your customer’s location.
How it works
In your Xano function, add an External API Request step using POST to the Expedy API, with your key in the header and the receipt in the body.
Plug in the printer, scan the QR code displayed on its screen, and it will be linked to your Expedy account. No driver and no computer to leave switched on. See the installation details — API reference.

Frequently asked questions
Can I manage a fleet of printers for multiple clients?
Yes. Store the printer ID in your Xano database and pass it in the request to route each print job.
Do I need to open ports on the client’s network?
No. The printer connects outbound to the Expedy cloud, so no incoming connection is required.
Does the printer need to stay on my network?
No. It connects to the Expedy cloud over 4G or Ethernet and continues working even if your router goes down.
