n8n orchestrates your data but stops at the screen. This thermal printer adds a physical output to your workflows. A simple HTTP Request node to the ExpedyPRINT API is enough for an event to trigger a ticket, picking slip, or label. It operates independently over 4G, so it can be placed at a remote site without configuring a local network.
Installation, clearly explained
You plug the printer into a power outlet, scan the QR code displayed on its screen, and it is linked to your Expedy account. No network configuration is required, and it operates completely independently: we have access neither to your accounts nor to your infrastructure. See the installation details.
How it works with n8n
- You retrieve your API key from the Expedy console.
- You add an HTTP Request node at the end of the workflow.

Do I need a dedicated n8n node?
No. The standard HTTP Request node is sufficient; the API uses a simple JSON POST request.
Does the API response confirm that the document was printed?
No. A 200 response with a request_uid confirms that the API received the request, not that it was physically printed. Plan for deduplication in your workflow.
How can I retrieve my printers' IDs?
Using the list all your printers endpoint.
My n8n instance is self-hosted. Is it compatible?
Yes, as long as it can send outbound HTTPS requests.
